Abstract
Most shoulder pain is related to impingement syndrome with rotator cuff tear and glenohumeral instability. Imaging is focused on detection and staging of the lesion. Compared to the conventional radiograph and CT, ultrasound (US) and MRI are superior to soft tissue contrast resolution. Recently MR arthrogram is widely used for better evaluation of labral lesions and rotator cuff rupture. This article is focused on role of MR and US in shoulder pain.
